A woman gives up baby for adoption. 20 years later, her son/daughter sets off in search to find its birth mother.
Possible backstory:
* A spoiled selfish 17 yr old leaves baby on the side of the road in a box, thinking nothing of it and that the animals would take care of it. A magical group (?) finds it & implants magic into the baby before setting it off into the real world to be adopted. [ @ NaNo ]
